    Yolande Rousselle
    1945-2016
    Yolande Rousselle, 71, wife of the late Pascal Rousselle of the Villa Providence in Shediac, passed away on Monday, October 10, 2016 after a long illness at her residence. Born July 16, 1945 in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Thadée and Doris (LeBlanc) Cormier.
    She is survived by her two children: Bernice Rousselle-Babineau (Ronnie) of Richibouctou-Village and Bernard (Natalie) of Cap-Pelé; two sisters: Albertina Léger (Clarice) and Délia Vautour (Antoine) both of Cap-Pelé; four grandchildren: Mathieu, Tyler, Jérémie and Monica and many nieces and nephews.
    She was predeceased by her husband Pascale and a brother Réginald.
    A private funeral service was celebrated on Friday, October 14, 2016 at the Frenette Chapel and Cremation Centre. Inurnment was in the Ste-Thérèse-d’Avila R.C. parish cemetery, Cap-Pelé.
    In memory of Yolande, a contribution to the Alzheimer Society or the Canadian Diabetes Association be appreciated.
    Cremation and funeral arrangements are under the direction of Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, Shediac (532-3297).

    Family stories heard from various relatives have said that Damien LeBlanc used to go to Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, and to various parts of New Brunswick on contracts to cut lumber. He would take a group of men with him and was boss of the lumber camp.

    Buried:
    His grandson, Damien s/o Peter maintains his grave and stone and showed me (A Owen) where his grave was located in the Haute Aboujagane Cemetery in the summer of 1999. It confirmed that I had found the correct grave in 1974.

    Her death registration states that her burial was to be in Cape Bauld, NB but she is buried in the cemetery at Haute-Aboujagane which is near Cape Bauld. Damien LeBlanc, her grandson, identified her grave to me in the summer of 1999 and maintains her grave and tombstone.

    Her death was reported by her son-in-law, Mr Thaddy Vienneau of Joggins, NS. Her age at death was given as 83 years, 4 months and 16 days. She had been residing in Joggins for six years prior to her death. She was a widow.
