    Obituary

    Paul A. Murray, 93, of K. E. Spencer Memorial Home and formerly of Upper Coverdale, passed away peacefully at his residence on Thursday, July 31, 2014. Born in Turtle Creek, he was the son of the late Timothy and Bessie (Tingley) Murray. Paul was retired from Moncton Supply Depot #5 with 34 years’ service and was a Veteran of WWII, having served overseas with the Carlton York Regiment. He was a member of Five Points Baptist Church and the Riverview Veterans and Armed Forces Association. Paul was a hobby farmer and worked in the woods cutting his own wood well into his 80’s and loved his grandchildren, especially the babies. He liked taking his family camping, camped across Canada and made a few trips to Florida.
    Paul will be sadly missed by his wife of 66 years, Ruth (Kelly); daughter, Paulette O’Neill (George) of Riverview and their children, Holly Doak (Matthew) and Andrew O’Neill (Kari); sons, Ray Murray (Jean) of Lower Coverdale and their children, David Murray (Misti) and Timothy Murray (Angela); Lee Murray (Shirley) of Indian Mountain and their children, Shawn, Troy and Jeremy Murray; great grandchildren, Joel and Julie Murray; Ben and Adrianna Murray and Wallace Doak; sister, Lousinda Donaldson of BC; many nieces, nephews and extended family members. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers, Charlie and John; sisters, Greta, Ina, Grace and Margaret.
    Visitation at Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) on Saturday from 6:00 to 9:00 pm. Riverview Veterans and Armed Forces Association Memorial Service on Saturday at 5:45pm. A Celebration of Life Service for Paul will be held at Fergusons Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday, August 3, 2014 at 1:30 pm, with Rev. Gordon Horsman officiating. Reception in the Funeral Home Reception Centre following the service. Interment, Fair Haven Memorial Gardens.
    In Paul’s memory, donations to Five Points Baptist Church or the Friends of The Moncton Hospital would be appreciated by the family. Online condolences at
