    GELDART, Vera Marie - Elgin, N.B., died January 17, 1994, in Moncton City Hospital. Born in Mount Pleasant, she was a daughter of the late Joseph A. and Catherine (Dixon) Mattinson. She was a graduate of Provincial Normal School, Truro. After teaching one year in Oxford, she enrolled in the Moncton City Hospital School of Nursing and was a graduate of 1939 class. She did full-time nursing until 1949, then married and resided in Elgin. She is survived by her husband, Conrad A.P.; daughter, Catherine Dawn (Mrs. Vance Rockwell), Timberlea; son, Conrad Dwight, Penobsquis, N.B.; a grandson; two sisters, Nancy Ellen Fiske, Nashua, N.H.; Amy E. Mattinson, Mount Pleasant; several nieces and nephews; four step-grandchildren; a step-great-grandchild. Funeral will be 2 p.m. today in the Elgin Baptist Church, Rev. Donald MacDougall officiating, assisted by Rev. H. Bartlett. Burial will be held at a later date in Old Elgin Cemetery.

Conrad (son of Worden Herbert Geldart and Rachel Estella Garland) was born 19 Mar 1922, Mapleton, Albert, New Brunswick, Canada; died 15 Jun 2002, Elgin Parish, Albert, New Brunswick, Canada; was buried , Old Elgin Cemetery, Elgin, Albert, New Brunswick, Canada.
