STRANG Juanita Strang, 80, passed away on Nov. 11th, 2004 after an extended illness. Mrs. Strang was born in Baxley, GA on Feb. 5th, 1924 and she has been a resident of Jacksonville Beach, FL for more than 45 years.She was a member of the Supreme Cootiettes Club of the United States most of her adult life and was a past president of the VFW of Jacksonville Beach. She is survived by her devoted husband, Alder Maxwell Strang of 57 years, her son, G. David Green and his wife (Nell), six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, three sisters and a host of other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 7 - 9 PM on Sunday, Nov. 14 at HARDAGE-GIDDENS FUNERAL HOME, 1701 Beach Blvd., Jacksonville Beach, FL. A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, Nov. 15, 2004 at 11:00 AM at the H. Warren Smith Cemetery on Penman Road and Beach Blvd. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Juanita's name to the VFW on 9th St., Jacksonville Beach, FL 3 2250.
