    M. Jeanette (Price) Katzung
    KATZUNG, M. Jeanette (Price) M. Jeanette (Price) Katzung, 94, of Ocala, FL., formerly of Avon, widow of Kenneth J. Katzung, died Tuesday, (May 20, 2008) at Heartland Nursing and Rehabilitation in Zephyrhills, FL, after a short illness. Born July 8th, 1913, the 2nd of 4 daughters to Manfred and Margaret D. (MacCallum) Price of New Castle, New Brunswick, Canada. She met and married her husband of 62 years and lived in Avon for over 40 years raising their family there, before retiring to Florida and North Carolina. She was Methodist and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Ruby Chapter, for over 50 years. She is survived by her son, James A. Katzung of Zephyrhills, FL and her daughter, Judith E. Smith and son-in-law Russell Smith of Ocala, FL with whom she made her home. Also, she is survived by her two grandsons, Daren J. Smith and his wife Julie of High Point, NC and Kevin D. Smith and his wife Christy of Burlington, NC and two great-grandchildren, Logan C. Smith of High Point, NC and Ashley M. Smith of Burlington, NC and a sister Bernice (Price) McDonald of Miramachi, New Brunswick, Canada, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her sisters, Mary (Price) Hierlihy and Eleanor (Price) Laurin. Friends may call at The Ahern Funeral Home, 111 Main St., Rt.4, Unionville on Monday, May 26 from 6-8 p.m. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, May 27 at 11 a.m. in Greenwood Cemetery, Avon. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
