    1926 – 2013


    HACHEY, MATILDA MARIE /River Hebert/Amherst, 87, passed away peacefully at the Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre, Upper Nappan on June 14, 2013 after a brief illness, Mom was a wife, Mother and friend to many. She was the youngest daughter of the late Philias and Olive (LeBlanc) Leblanc. She is survived by her daughter, Lois Connor (Don) two grandchildren, Paul (Karla) Connor and Susan Connor, two great grandchildren, Michelle Connor and Dylan Connor, all of Beaver Bank. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
    She was predeceased by her husband Robert, sisters, Delma Vienneau, Alvina Downey, Mary Jane LeBlanc, Permelia Breau, Evelyn Miller, brothers Adolf and Walter.
    She was a life long resident of River Hebert spending the last six years living at Victoria Manor, She was a former member of St Paul’s Roman Catholic Church CWL and River Hebert Legion, Ladies Auxiliary.
    Matilda’s family will receive visitors on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. with parish prayers at 8 p.m. all at Campbell’s Funeral Home, 98 Church St., Amherst. (902-667-9906)
    Funeral mass will be held at St Paul’s Roman Catholic Church, River Hebert on Wednesday, June 19,2013 at 2 p.m. with Father Phil Thibodeau officiating.
    Interment will follow in the St. Thomas Aquinas Cemetery, Joggins.
    No Flower by request but a donation to a charity of your choice would be appreciated. Special thanks to Victoria Manor staff for the care and love Mom received.
