    Alphonse Goguen
    1932 – 2023

    Alphonse Goguen, 90, of Faubourg du Mascaret “Pavillon Richard”, Moncton and formerly of St-André-LeBlanc, NB, passed away on Thursday, May 18th,2023, at his residence. Born in St-André-LeBlanc, NB, he was the son of the late Napoléon and the late Elizabeth (LeBlanc) Goguen.
    Prior to his retirement, he had worked many different jobs, at the lobster shop, smokehouse and carpentry. Alphonse was a family man, he would of talk to anyone, loved joking and was always happy. He enjoyed nature, especially being in the woods. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Léona (LeBlanc) Goguen; his daughters: Verna Goguen (Louis) of Moncton and Darlene Goguen-Gaudet (Michel) of Dieppe; his grandsons: Mathieu and Denis; his sisters: Léonie Boleyn (late Mike) of St-André-LeBlanc and Eleonor Leger (late Adrice) of Cap-Pelé; his brother, Léonce Goguen (Léona) of Cap-Pelé, as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sisters: Yvonne, Anna and Anita and by his brothers: Adrice, Arthur and Albert.
    Visitation will beheld from Ste-Thérèse d’Avila Funeral Salon, Cap-Pelé, NB, on Tuesday, May 30th, 2023 from 9 am to 10:15 am. Funeral mass will beheld from Ste-Thérèse d’Avila RC Church, Cap-Pelé, NB, on Tuesday, May 30th, 2023 at 10:30 am. In Alphonse’s memory, a donation can be made to the Alzheimer Society or to the Cap-Pelé Cemetery. The family invites you to sign a book of condolences at the funeral home website.
