    William (Bill) Mills
    1939 - 2013
    It is with great sadness that the family of William (Bill) Joseph Mills age 74, of Joggins announce his passing on Thursday, May 30, 2013 at Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre, Upper Nappan, NS, after a brief illness.
    Born in Joggins, he was a son of the late Arthur and Kathleen (Terrio) Mills.
    Bill started his employment with Enamel & Heating (Enheat Inc.) in Amherst and then transferred to Fawcett Foundry in Sackville which later became Enterprise Fawcett. His career spanned 52 years as a commercial traveller and general sales manager and he received special recognition for his 50 years of service with Enterprise Fawcett.
    He was a lifelong member of St. Thomas Aquinas Roman Catholic Church, Joggins as well as an administrator of the St.Thomas Aquinas Cemetery (Ragged Reef) for the past several years.Bill was a dedicated member and Vice President of the Royal Canadian Legion Br. 4, Joggins. He was also a member of the Commercial Travellers’ Association.
    Bill will be sadly missed by his wife of over 52 years, Alma (Dujay) Mills, daughter Gwen Archibald of Amherst, grandson Michael Archibald (Marcie LeBlanc) of Amherst, sisters Yvonne (Reg) Belliveau of Saint John, NB, Jeanette (Gilbert) McKinnon of Quispamsis, NB and brother Gerard Mills of Saint John, NB, many nieces and nephews and mother in law, Jean Dujay.
    At the request of the family there will be no visitation, anyone wishing to pay respects may do so at the St. Thomas Aquinas Church Hall following the interment in St. Thomas Aquinas Cemetery.
    A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, June 3, 2013 at 11 a.m. from St.Thomas Aquinas Roman Catholic Church, Joggins with Father David MacDonald and Father Phil Thibodeau officiating.
    In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make memorial donations may do so to the St. Thomas Aquinas Church or St. Thomas Aquinas Cemetery Fund.

    MILLS, KATHLEEN S. - JOGGINS NS - It is with sadness that the family of Kathleen S. Mills announces her passing at South Cumberland Community Care Centre in Parrsboro, NS on May 17, 2008, where she had been residing since August of 2006. Daughter of the late Patrick and Daisy (Belliveau) Terrio, Kathleen was born on August 30th, 1915 in Joggins where she lived for 90 years. She was married for nearly 62 years to the late Arthur J. Mills, who predeceased her in 1997. Kathleen devoted her married life to her husband and their four children. She will be fondly remembered by family and friends for her fantastic cooking abilities. She loved gardening, especially flowers, and everything flourished under her care. She was also an avid reader. Most of her life was spent at home raising her children with the exception of a period of ten years when she worked at the local grocery store after her children left home. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all her family. She was a devoted Catholic, and said her rosary everyday and was very upset if on occasion she would forget. Kathleen is survived by two sons, Bill (Alma), Joggins, NS, Gerard, Saint John, NB; two daughters, Yvonne Belliveau (Reg), Saint John, NB, Jeanette McKinnon (Gilbert), Quispamsis, NB. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Fred (Myrtle) Terrio, Joggins; several in-laws; many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband, Arthur; her parents; brothers, Elmer and Kenneth Terrio and sisters Rita Dujay and Alice LeBlanc. Arrangements have been entrusted to Furlong Jones Funeral Home, Amherst, NS. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Father David MacDonald at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Joggins on May 20, 2008 at 2 pm, followed by burial at St. Thomas Aquinas Cemetery. At the request of the family, no visitations at the funeral home. Anyone wishing to pay respects to the family can do so at the Church Hall following the burial, where a time of fellowship and refreshments will be held.     E Victor Dujay 1915-2011

    The death of E. Victor Dujay, 96, of New Glasgow and formerly of Joggins and Amherst, occurred peacefully at home on October 30, 2011. Born in Little River, NS, Victor was a son of the late John and Leanna (White) Dujay.

    Victor worked for 23 years in the Joggins Coal Mines, then with TD Bank &Trust in Toronto. He was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Roman Catholic Church, Holy Family Parish and most recently St. John The Baptist Church, New Glasgow. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 4, Joggins.

    He was an avid baseball fan, and in particular, he was a huge fan of the Toronto Blue Jays. In his earlier years, he played for the Joggins baseball team.
    Victor will be sadly missed by his wife, Jean (nee Burke); daughters, Alma(William) Mills of Joggins, June (James) Melanson of Dartmouth; a son, Ross (Mary) of New Glasgow; sister, Marcella McKay of Joggins; five grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

    Besides his parents he was predeceased by three infant children; a son, Stirling; a sister Jessie LeBlanc; brothers, Cornelius "Peewee", Wilson, Eric, Ronald, Carl, and Lester.
    Arrangements have been entrusted into the care and supervision of Furlong~Jones Funeral Homes, River Hebert from where public visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 2, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A funeral mass will be held at 11 am from the St. Thomas Aquinas Roman Catholic Church, Joggins on Thursday, November 3, 2011, with Father Gary MacPherson officiating. Following the service, Victor will be laid to rest in the St. Thomas Aquinas Cemetery (Ragged Reef), Joggins.
