    MELANSON, Arthur - 97, Amherst, formerly of Joggins, died September 7, 2008, in Victoria Manor. He was a son of the late Isreal and Alice (LeBlanc) Melanson. Surviving are sons, Morris (Patti), Richard (Judy); daughter, Margaret (Terry) Terrio; daughter-in-law, Carolyn; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife, Kathryn (LeBlanc); son, Robert; five brothers and sisters. Visitation 7-9 p.m. Thursday, October 16, in River Hebert and Joggins Community Funeral Home River Hebert. Funeral 11 a.m. Friday, October 17, in St. Thomas Aquinas Roman Catholic Church. Burial in Ragged Reef Cemetery. www.furlongjones.ca
