    Freeman ADSHADE
A wide circle of friends throughout the county will regret to hear about the death of Freeman ADSHADE, which occurred at his home on Wednesday evening, July 2nd. Although his death was not unexpected, it came as a great shock to his family and to the community. He will be greatly missed in the home, as he was always gentle, kind and a friend always lending a helping hand to those in need. He was a very successful farmer. The deceased was in his 62nd year, and had been in ill health for quite a few years, which he bore with Christian fortitude. He resided in East Leicester until a few years ago, when he removed to Little River.
He is survived by his wife, one son, Lloyd, two daughters, Della, Mrs. Burton ANDREWS, Moncton and Juanita at home, also two grandchildren. His wife was formerly Miss Celia OULTON, daughter of the late Henry OULTON of Baie Verte Road.
The funeral was held from his home Friday afternoon and was very largely attended. Rev. Mr. ARMITAGE of Oxford officiated. The organ was played by Mrs. Botsford GILLIS of Leicester. The hymns Jesus, Lover of My Soul, Lead Kindly Light, Rock of Ages, also a solo by Miss Muriel McELMOM were sung. Following the solemn service the remains were laid to rest in the family lot in the Leicester cemetery. The pallbearers were friends of the deceased, Clarence ROBB, Daniel HOLLIS, William DOBSON and Albert McELMON. The floral offerings were many and beautiful, showing the high esteem in which he departed was held.
