Terry Vincent Chappell 1959 - 2009 TIMBER RIVER - The death of Terry Vincent Chappell, 49, of Timber River, occurred peacefully at the Sackville Memorial Hospital on Monday, May 11, 2009. Born in Port Elgin, he was a son of Vincent and the late Launa (Ogden) Chappell. An avid outdoorsman, Terry enjoyed fishing and four-wheeling. He was known for being able to fix anything, and was a talented welder and mechanic. Terry was a loving husband and father, and will be missed by all. Terry is survived by his wife, Lori (Trenholm) Chappell; children; Terry Luke Chappell and Morgan Lori Lillian Chappell; father, Vincent Chappell; sisters, Barbara (Brian) Tower and Patti (Steven) Reade; father and mother-in-law Dewey and Lillian Trenholm; several nieces and nephews, as well as many friends. He was predeceased by his mother, Launa (Ogden) Chappell. Cremation has taken place under the care and supervision of Jones Funeral Home, 3 West Main Street, Port Elgin (538-2241), from where visitation will be held Wednesday evening from 7 to 9pm. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 14th, 2009, from the funeral home at 2pm, William Drysdale DLM officiating. The death of Launa Chappell, age 72, of Timber River, NB wife of Vincent Chappell, occurred at the Moncton City Hospital on Sunday, December 14, 2003, following a courageous battle with cancer.
Born in Timber River, she was a daughter of the late Fred and Bessie (Trenholm) Ogden, she was formerly employed with the Port Elgin Pharmacy for 28 years. Launa was a member of the Trinity United Church, Port Elgin and former church secretary.
Launa will be sadly missed by her husband, Vincent, Timber River, a son Terry (Lori), Timber River, 2 daughters, Barbara (Brian) Tower, Riverview and Patti (Steven) Reade, Upper Cape, a sister, Marie (Gerald) Ogden, Lower Sackville, NS, 10 grandchildren and 1 great grandson, as well as a special niece Pat Blayney and special cousin and friend Dorothy Trenholm, Dartmouth.
The remains have been forwarded for cremation. A time of visitation will be held at the Jones Funeral Home, 3 W Main St., Port Elgin (364-1300) on Tuesday evening from 7 to 9 pm. A memorial service will be held at the Trinity United Church, Port Elgin on Wednesday, December 17, 2003 at 2 pm, Rev. Jay Ettinger officiating. Burial in the Fernwood Cemetery, Port Elgin, in the spring.

Born in Baie Verte,N.B., she was a daughter of the late Frederick and Elizabeth (Bowser)Oulton. She was a member of Trinity St. Stephen United Church,Amherst. She is survived by her husband, R.
