    Although the missionary priest performing his baptism is from the parish of St Thomas de Memramcook, the baptism entry states that Laurent's father, Pierre Niles, is a farmer from the parish of Ste Anne de Menoudi.
    Laurent's godparents are Jean Bourg and Suzanne Melanson. Laurent's father was absent from the baptism.
