    Kevin Dana Oulton (November 29, 1960 - January 13, 2011)
    It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved husband, dad, grampy, son, brother and friend, Kevin Dana Oulton age 50 of Amherst on Thursday, January 13, 2011 at Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre, Upper Nappan, NS. Born in Amherst, he was a son of Sharon (Chapman) Oulton of Amherst and the late Dana Oulton. Kevin was an avid hunter, loved the outdoors and enjoyed woodworking with his buddy. He adored his grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with them, as well as his faithful dog Rosie. He will be sadly missed by his wife the former Susan Howatt, two sons Chris (Emma) and Adam both of Amherst, three grandchildren Jenna, Isaac and Austin, three sisters Marilyn (Trevor) Cox of East Amherst, Cathy (Byron) Carter and Donna (Joey) Roberts both of Amherst Head and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be on Monday, January 17, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. in Campbell's Funeral Home, 98 Church St., Amherst (667-9906). Funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 2 p.m. from Campbell's Chapel with Pastor Matthew Sealy officiating. Memorial donations in Kevin's memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia or the charity of your choice. www.campbellsamherst.ca

    Mr. Dana George Oulton
    December 21, 1935 - July 26, 2007

    Dana George Oulton age 71 of Amherst passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, July 26, 2007 at home.

    Born in Lorneville, N.S, he was a son of the late Lawrence and Viola (Jackson) Oulton

    Dana was an avid hunter, fisher and enjoyed spending time with his son. He was a wonderful husband, father, brother, grandfather, great grandfather and uncle, and will be dearly missed by all.

    Dana is survived by his loving wife of 50 years Sharon Catherine (Chapman) Oulton; one son: Kevin (Susan) of Amherst; three daughters: Marilyn (Trevor) Cox, Cathy (Byron) Carter and Donna (Joseph) Roberts all of Amherst; sister: Phyllis (Eddy) Oulton of Halifax N.S.; brother: Eric (Faye) of Summerside, P.E.I.; sister in law: Shirley Miller of Dartmouth N.S.; 14 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

    He was predeceased by one sister: Peggy Ogden

    His remains are resting in Campbell's Funeral Home, 98 Church St., Amherst (667-9906) with visiting on Sunday, July 29, 2007 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Monday at 2 p.m. from Campbell's Chapel with Rev. Ed Sealy officiating.

    Donations in Dana's memory may be made to the Kidney Foundation or charity of your choice.
