    In his Atlas, Surette tells how the land that had been reserved for Pierre Arsenault by the Bourgeois' at Mesagouche point in 1671, is seized back from Pierre around 1675 by Marguerite Bourgeois and her new husband, Jean Boudrot. As a result of this, Pierre must now stay in Port Royal.

    In 'History of the Acadians' by Bona Arsenault, he mentions on page 31 that administration of D'Aulnay's estate was awarded jointly to d'Aulnay's widow and to Germain Doucet dit Laverdure who was a trusted associate of D'Aulnay's at Penobscot.
