    The marriage of Miss Anne Bertha Copp, daughter of William M. Copp and the late Mrs. Copp, Newcastle, N.B. and Harold Sturat Lowerison, Saint John, son of Mr & Mrs Harry S. Lowerison, Newcastle was an interesting event in St Andrews Church there yesterday at 11 o'clock when Ven Archdeacon Thomas Parker officiated.
    The church was decorated by friends of the bride with summer flowers and the altor vases contained long-stemmed roses white roses. Miss Mona Linden presided at the organ and rekndered special nuptial selections. The bride entered the church with her father to the strains of the wedding hymn, "The Voice That Breathed O'er Eden." During the signing of the register, the choir sang "O Perfect Love." The recessional was Mendelssohn's Wedding March.
    The bride wore a slipper lenght gown of floral chiffon in dusky rose shade..Her hat and gloves were of pale blue, and she wore a silver slippers, and carried a bouquet of pink roses. gypsophila and maidenhair fern. The couple were unattended.
    After the ceremony, a reception was held for the immediate families of the bride and groom, and later Mr. and Mrs. Lowerison left on a short wedding trip to points of interest in Nova Scotia. For traveling the bride wore a shark-skin suit in natural and luggage tan shades, with hat, shoes and bag to match. On their return Mr. and Mrs Lowerison will reside in Saint JOhn, where the groom is associated with Porter and Ritchie, barristers.
    The bride has been until recently on the teaching staff of Harkins Academy, Newcastle. She is a graduate of the Provincial Normal School, Fredericton. Mr. Lowerison is a graduate of Mount Allison University, class of 1933, with honors in biology, and of the University of New Brunswick Law School, with distinction, in 1937. He was formerly instructon in the biological laboratories at Mount Allison University.

    KENTVILLE, Oct. 4 - Harry Stephen Lowerison, 65, retired veteran Canadian National Railways employee for 45 years and who has resided here since his retirement in April of last year, died at Blanchard Fraser Memorial Hospital here today, following an operation.

    Mr. Lowerison was born at Sackville, N.B., the son of the last Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Lowerison. He entered the railway employment service at an early age and had served as station agent and freight agent at Peticodiac, Sackville, and Newcastle, prior to his appointment at Cambellton. He retired on superannuation, April 1952, after 45 years service. His wife passed away here in July last year.

    Surviving are one son, Stuart Lowerison, Fredericton, N.B.; one brother, Bliss Lowerison, Dorchester, N.B.; and three sisters, Jane (Mrs. Harvey Ring) and Anna (Mrs. Robert Smith), both of West Saint John; Etta (Mrs. Alexander Cameron?), Shelburne.

    The body now resting at the W. C. Hiltz and Son Funeral Home here will be taken to St. James Anglican Church in time for funeral services at two o'clock Tuesday afternoon. The rector, Rev. L. W. Mosher, will officiate. Interment will be in Elm Grove cemetery, Kentville.

    KENTVILLE, July 13 - Mrs. Harry S. Lowerison, 67, for many years a resident of Campbellton, N.B. but living here for the last several months, died Saturday in Blanchard Fraser Memorial Hospital.

    Her husband, now retired, was for a long period freight and passenger agent of the C.N.R. at Campbellton. The former Caroline Kay, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Kay, River Glade, N.B., she was a graduate in voice of Mount Allison and long been prominent in community work in Campbellton. She was a member of the Red Cross, the IODE, and of the choir and other organization of Christ Anglican Church.

    Surviving besides her husband are, one son, Stuart, Frederickton, and two sisters, Miss Martha Kay, Philladelphia, and Ella, Mrs. W. Albert Hiltz, Kentville.

    Funeral services to be conducted by the rector, Rev. L. W. Mosher, will be held from St. James Anglican Church at 2:30 o'clock Monday afternoon.

    Interment will be on Oak Grove Cemetery, Kentville.
