    OBITUARY

    AMHERST – Mrs. L. Alice OULTON, 79, of 151 Church Street, Amherst, died Sunday at the home of her son Darrell in Fall River East. Born in Tidnish Bridge, N.B., she was a daughter of the late R. B. and Lillie (Brundage) Davidson. She was a seamstress and homemaker, a member of the Pythian Sisters Elizabeth Temple No 6 and of Miriam Rebekah Lodge No. 36. She is survived by a daughter, Lidy (Mrs. Austin Smith), Oxford Junction, a son, Darrell, Fall River East; two sisters, Mrs. Betty Baxter, Tidnish Crossroads; and Dot (Mrs. Samuel Rice), Saugus, Mass.; a brother Norman H. Davidson, Tidnish Bridge, Nova Scotia; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Manford in 1964, and two infant daughters, Mary Elizabeth and Dorothy Ann. The body is in Furlong’s Funeral Home, Amherst, where the funeral service will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. conducted by Rev. Maynard Rector. Burial will be in the Riverside Cemetery, Tidnish Bridge. In lieu of flowers donation may be made to any charity.

Manford (son of Charles Edward Oulton and Ruby Jane Smith) was born 10 Jun 1899, Lorneville, Cumberland, Nova Scotia, Canada; died 14 Aug 1964, Amherst, Cumberland, Nova Scotia, Canada; was buried 18 Aug 1964, Riverside Cemetery, Tidnish Bridge, Cumberland, Nova Scotia, Canada.
