Discrepancy: Francois was born somewhere in the region of Menoudie according to the book on Leger's by Yvon Leger. The periodical with S.White's 37 families states that Francois was born in Pisiguit.

Residence:
Numerous Leger families established at Scoudouc and the village for the first half of the 1800's was known as "the Village of the Legers". After the inauguration of the railway in 1857, the eastern part of the village became Dorchester Crossing.
