    DellaMary Brownell
    1910-2009

    Della Mary Brownell, age 99, of Sackville, passed away peacefully at the Sackville Memorial Hospital on Saturday, May 2, 2009. Born in Upper Sackville, she was a daughter of the late Sam and Natalie (Richard) LeBlanc.

    Della was a devoted wife and mother, and a dedicated member of the Sackville Parish.

    She will be sadly missed by daughters, Jean (Roger)Methot, Memramcook, Sadie (Kenneth) Steeves, Sackville, Bettty Ann (Herman) Cummings, Thunder Bay, ON; sons, Jerry (Mary Lou) Brownell, Sackville, and Sidney Brownell (special friend Muriel), Sackville; as well as several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

    The last surviving member of her immediate family, Della was also predeceased by her husband Marven, son Alton, grandchildren, Jimmy, Leslie and Gordon.

    Arrangements have been entrusted to Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge Street, Sackville, (364-1300), from where visitation will be held on Monday, May 4, from 7-9 pm. A funeral service will take place on Tuesday, at 11 am from St. Vincent's Roman Catholic Church. Burial will follow in the Holy Rosary Cemetery.

    Donations in memory of Della may be made to the Holy Rosary Cemetery, the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of your choice.
