    Alexina Fougère - 1924-2017
    Alexina Fougère, 93, passed away on Tuesday, October 24th, 2017 at Dr. Georges-L-Dumont Hospital. Born in Dupuis Corner on May 4th,1924, she was the daughter of the late Philippe and Olive (LeBlanc) Leblanc.
    She was a retired employee of Paturel Seafood, a member of the Cap-Pelé Legion and a former leader with the Cap-Pelé Girl Guides.
    She will be sadly missed by her seven children: Adrienne Saulnier (late Camille), Simonne Strang (Robert), Corinne Duguay (friend Rick Steeves), Henri (Jacqueline Leblanc), Edouard (Paulette), Stella Fougère (Evie Lane) and Georges (Denise), also 11grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 1 great great-grandchild.
    She was predeceased by her husband, Adrien (2008), son Roger (1965), brothers and sisters: Clovis, Juliette, Maria, Yvonne and Dora.
    The family will receive condolences at Funéarium Frenettere, 2642 Acadie Road, Cap-Pelé onSunday, October 29th,2017 from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm only.The funeral mass will be
    celebrated at Ste-Thérèse d'Avila RC Church, 2648 Acadie Road Cap-Pelé on Monday,
    October 30th,2017 at 10:30 am. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
    In memory of Alexina, a contribution to the donor's choice would be appreciated.
    Cremation and funeral arrangements are under the direction of Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, Shediac (532-3297).
