    Old Andre LeBlanc (1729-1819), the father of Pierre Comeau's 1st wife, pretended that he had encountered, during the deportation to New Orleans, a brother who was very rich. According to Placide Gaudet, Francois Comeau (son of Pierre Comeau and Angelique Brun) took some steps and travelled during 1870-80 to attempt to locate the famous 'LeBlanc Fortune'.
