    J03-p.133,134-b.dt;marr.info. In 1850 he was 61 yrs. After this date he disappared from Lower Cape Bald area. B27-p.40-b.dt;marr.info. Settled around Lower Cape Bald about 1820. His house, built in this time, still exists today. It is the oldest house in the village of Cap Pele. In the summer of 1853, Placide sold his goods and moved with his family to Rexton, more precisely between Peters Mills and Bedeque(Richibouctou Village). Moreover, his son Thomas lived there for a couple of years. They were the first Brun's to live in Kent County. Placide and his wife Suzanne are mentioned in the 1861 census, but are absent from the 1871 one. His children carry the surnames:Brien, O'Brien and O'Brian.

J03- -p.133-b.yr of June 1734;marr.info;list of children;he lived with his family at Point Beausejour in 1754;he is the brother of Pierre and Michel...around 1805,he,with his family settled at Lower Cape Bald where he died at 95 and a half. B27-p.27-b.dt of Jun 1735. It was possible that he was exiled to North Carolina with his parents. He reappeared in Acadia in October 1762, because he is listed with a list of prisoners with his brother Pierre at Fort Edward, Windsor. He settled at Miudie with his brother Pierre in 1768. He married in Minudie. About 1820, the family settled at Cap Pele where Jean died in 1831. Bona-vol.3,p.884-b.yr.

    Bona-vol.2,p.476-b.yr,settled at Beaubassin. -vol.3,p.884-b.yr, marr.info. B27-p.25-b.yr,marr.info. It was about 1753 that he settled at Pointe Beausejour. The family, except for Michel & Pierre, who evaded it, were deport ed to South Carolina in the fall of 1755, with the fall of Fort Beausejour to the English. This family's name appears in the passenger list of the 'Endeavour', which carried them into exile. The couple had with them 1 son and 1 daughter. Michel, Pierre and Jean are the ancestors of the Maritime Brun's.

  3. 10.  Pierre dit Pitre Doiron was born Abt 1712, Beaubassin (son of Pierre Doiron and Madeleine Doucet); died 1794, Maccan.

    Bona-vol.3,p.953-b.yr is abt 1712;marr.info. M01-p.44-b.yr is 1714;marr.info.;d.loc is Nappan B22-p.361-b.yr abt 1710;d loc is Minudie in 1794 aged 84 yrs. The newly married couple settled at Nappan near Minudie. In 1754 Pierre and his father were found at Chimougui with their families. With the fall of Fort Beausejour in 1755, they took refuge at Port Lajoie on ile Saint Jean. After the Fortress of Louisbourg was taken in 1758, they moved to Shippagan or its vicinity. In 1761, they were captured by Roderick MacKenzie's men who were taking prisoners to fort Beausejour. After the treaty was signed in 1763, they were freed and returned to settle at Nappan. In the Nappan census of 1770, the family appeared to be prospering well... Twenty years later, Pierre's situation was not so good. In the 1791 census, he was in his eighties and a widower: "A list of persons who have been relieved from the capitation tax: Peter Doiron, a poor decreped old man very poor, one shilling".
