He left Nappan with his family around 1790 to settle at Richard Village where he received from the N.B. government on Dec 6, 1793 a grant of land 400 acres. He then was named Pierre Goulle. He sold this lot the 3 Mar 1800 to Jean Baptiste Maillet and in turn bought his lot at Saint Anselme a Gros Jean. He lived for several years in Saint Anseleme before finally settling at Tidiche around 1810.
