    1924 - 2010 - Lillian Doris Bell O'Brien Payne, age 86 years of Moncton, passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Friday, September 3rd, 2010. Born in Moncton on August 28th, 1924; she was the daughter of the late David and Clara (Boudreau) Bell. She was a member of the United Church of Canada. Lillian was a wonderful mother and housewife, she also loved to be out and about and no trip was ever to big or small for her. Sadly missed by her daughters Gail Kirk (Ken), Judy Steeves (Lawrence), Donna Colpitts (Dennis); step daughter Carol LeBlanc; sons Gary O'Brien (Aline), Bill O'Brien (Gail); step sons Jimmy and Ronnie Payne; sisters Jean Fowler, Phyllis Parks, Joyce Bussey; brothers Jim, Wallace, and Jackie Bell; 10 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren; also by many nieces, nephews and extended family.
    Predeceased by her first husband of 47 years Earl O'Brien in 1990, second husband Malcolm Payne in 1996; sisters Ada, Florence, Vera Fowler, Mildred Hill; brothers Charles, Lloyd, Edward, Alfred, Nelson and Daniel. A special Thank You to Joyce, Bob, Donnie, Frances, Rev. Jim MacDonald and all the staff of the Palliative Care unit at the Moncton Hospital. In keeping with Lillian's wishes there will be no visitation at the funeral home. A memorial service will be held at Tuttle Brothers Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, September 8th, 2010 at 2:00pm with Rev. Jim MacDonald and Rev. Gayle MacDonald officiating. Interment will take place in Fairhaven Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Lillian made to the Friends of the Moncton Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated by her family.
