Jewett, Helen Gertrude (Middleton)Â
With great sadness, the family wishes to announce the passing of Helen (Middleton) Jewett  at the Dr Everett Chalmers  Hospital on January 26, 2016. Helen was born in Lakeville Corner, NB on October 29, 1927 to the late Ruby London and David Middleton and was predeceased by her husband Myles Jewett.
Helen was a homemaker. She attended the Baptist church and was a Life member of Legion Branch #55 Auxiliary.
Helen is survived by a daughter Lynn Jane (Robert) Whitfield and a son Leonard Jeffrey (Sarah) Jewett both of Ontario. Helen is also survived by four sisters; Phyllis Welch of Ontario, Shirley (Ernest) Patterson of Fredericton, Judith (Winston) Thompson of Lakeville Corner and Gail (Clayton)Tucker of Lakeville Corner, two brothers Wendell Middleton of Lakeville Corner and Reginald (Irene) Middleton of Oromocto, grandchildren; Scott (Biserka) Whitfield, Amanda Whitfield, Samantha and Emma Jewett, her great grandchild; Helena Whitfield, several nieces and nephews, And special family friend; Roger Nason.  Helen was predeceased by her sister Florence London.Â
A Legion Service will be at Sunbury Funeral Home on Saturday, January 30, 2016 at 11 am. Interment will be in Pickard-Merrithew Cemetery in Keswick NB at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Helen’s name to The Veterans Wing (DVA) or a charity of donor’s choice. Arrangements are in the care of Sunbury Funeral Home, Blissville, NB.Children:
