    Mr. Laurie Burgess Butler, husband of June (McInnis) Butler of Tabusintac NB, passed away at Miramichi Regional Hospital on Wednesday November 25 at the age of 80.
    Born in Moncton, NB, he was the son of Henry and Sarah (Penny) Butler. He was a retired Mechanic for Air Canada and a member of St. Andrews United Church Tabusintac.
    Besides his wife June, he is survived by 2 daughters Brenda (Lane) Sutherland of Guelph Ontario and Melissa (Scott) Maindonald of St. Margarets, 2 sons Laurie Ray (Aggie) of Ottawa Ontario and Brian (Kelly) of Williamsburg Ontario, one sister Betty Nichols of Moncton and 10 grandchildren.
    He was predeceased by his parents.
    Mr. Laurie Burgess Butler is resting at St. Andrews United Church Tabusintac on Monday from 7-9. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday December 1 at 11 am at St. Andrews United Church Tabusintac with Reverend Gerald Blacquiere officiating. Burial will be held in Newfoundland at a later date.
    In his memory, donations may be made to Canadian Cancer Society or a Memorial of ones choice.
    Arrangements are in the care of Davidson’s Funeral Home, 622-7464 and online at www.davidsonsfh.com, your family-owned, family-operated funeral home.
