    Obituary

    LEBLANC, J. LEONARD - The death of J. Leonard LeBlanc of Janice Ave, Cap Pele, husband of Edna (LeBlanc) and the late Mary (Neil) LeBlanc, occurred at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital, Moncton, on Friday, September 28, 2007. Born in Pittsfield, Mass., USA, he was the son of the late Leonard L. and Marie (Vinneau) LeBlanc. Mr. LeBlanc was a house builder for many years retiring in 1976. He enjoyed making homemade beer and wine and making airplane models and puzzles while listening to country music. Besides his wife, he is survived by one son, John LeBlanc (Amy) of Canaan, New York; two daughters, Joan LeBlanc, of Wareham, Mass. and Sharyn Fresia (William) of Pittsfield, Mass.; two brothers, Paul LeBlanc (Janice) of Dalton, Mass. and Robert LeBlanc (Carrie) of Pitssfield, Mass.; two sisters, Marilyn Harte (James) of Lee, Mass. and Ann McConnell of Pittsfield, Mass.; and a special cousin, Warren Vinneau of Pittsfield, Mass; eight grandchildren, one great grandson; several nephews and nieces. Predeceased by a sister, Rosemary D'Alessandro. Cremation will take place. Arrangements by Cavanagh Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 91 Leinster St. (634-1712). www.cavanaghfh.ca

    Marie C. LeBlanc leaves 55 decendants. Marie C. "Bella" LeBlanc, 97, of Cap Pele, died Friday Dec. 7, 2001 in Pittsfield, Ma. Born in Cap Pele Aug. 6, 1904, daughter of Jeffery and Christine Vienneau. She attended school in Cap Pele. Her husband, Leonard L. LeBlanc whom she married June 27, 1923 at Notre Dame Church died Feb. 4, 1985. She leaves three sons, J. Leonard of Cap Pele, Paul L. of Dalton and Robert R. of Pittsfield Ma.; three daughters, Rosemary D'Allesandro of St. Pete, Fl., Marilyn Harte of St. Pete Fl., C. Anne McConnell of Pittsfield Ma.; 17 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren. She will be buried on Dec. 11, 2001 with her husband in Pittsfield Ma.
