    BOYCE, William Ernest "Bill" - 76, Glen Haven Manor, New Glasgow, formerly of Trenton and Truro, passed away Monday, December 24, 2001. He was a son of the late Hilton and Harriett (Hay) Boyce. He was a veteran of the Second World War having served overseas. Bill was a lifetime member of the Royal Canadian Legion. He served as a purser on the Labrador Icebreaker. He was sales manager at C.K.E.C. Radio, New Glasgow. Surviving are sons, William (Roberta), Oshawa; Terry (Joyce), Sydney, Cape Breton; daughters, Nancy (George) Boggs, Trenton; Charlene (Julian) Young, Halifax; grandchildren, Michael (Rachel) and Allison Boyce, Lynn and Dawn Boggs and Madeleine Young; two great-grand- children, Matthew and Renee Gerrior; brothers, Doug (Eileen), Charlie (Del), both of Truro; Syd (Irene), Brule, Ralph (Audrey), Tatamagouche; George (Linda), Ron (Marg), both of Truro; sisters, Helen (Charlie) McNeil, Flo (Vince) Weatherbee, Grace Moore, all of Truro. He was predeceased by wife, Lillian "Toot" (Morris); daughter, Mary Lenore in infancy. Cremation has taken place. Memorial service 2 p.m. Friday in St. Andrews United Church, Truro, Rev. Margaret Sagar officiating. Interment of ashes will take place in Robie Street Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Glen Haven Manor, 739 East River Road, New Glasgow, N.S. B2H 5E9, A.A. Organization or a charity of choice. Services are under the direction of Eagles Funeral Home, Westville.

    BOYCE, Lillian Grace - 65, Brunswick Street, Truro, died March 8, 1993, in Colchester Regional Hospital, Truro. Born in Parrsboro, she was a daughter of the late Whitman and Lily (Slaunwhite) Morris. She was an avid bingo player. She is survived by her husband, Bill; two sons, William, Oshawa, Ont.; Terry, Truro; two daughters, Nancy (Mrs. George Boggs), Trenton; Charlene, Halifax; two sisters, Marion (Mrs. Doug McCully), Parrsboro; Shirley (Mrs. Ernie Smith), River Hebert; four grandchildren; a great-grandson. She was predeceased by a daughter, Mary Lenore in infancy; sister, Avora; brother, Allen. The body is in Ettinger-Kennedy Funeral Home, Truro, visiting 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today, where funeral will be 2 p.m. Thursday, Dr. Malcolm Harlow and Maj. Linda Bond officiating. Spring burial will be in Robie Street Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations may be made to any charity.
