    Mr. Andrew William McCallum, husband of Heather (Morehouse) McCallum, of 1677 Route 460 Tabusintac, passed away Saturday, Feb. 1, 2003, at Tracadie Hospital, at the age of 48.
    Born in Tracadie, he was the son of the late Guy and Allegonda (Jansen) McCallum. He was a forest ranger and a farmer. He was a member of St. Andrew's United Church, Tabusintac, and a member of Masonic Lodge No. 17 F & AM, and a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch No. 47.
    Besides his wife, he is survived by three daughters, Tina McCallum, of Fredericton; Jody McCallum, of Fredericton; Andrea McCallum, of Fredericton; one son, Ryan McCallum, of Tabusintac; one sister, Marilyn MacEachern (Ronald), of Tabusintac; two brothers, Ernest (Ruth), of Fredericton; Vincent (Georgie), of Upper Derby; one grandson, Thomas Breau; nieces and nephews: Rona, Brent, Candy, Guy, Kerri, Stepjen, Troy and Kelly.
    Mr. Andrew William McCallum rested at St. Andrew's United Church, Tabusintac, with visitation on Tuesday and Wednesday. The funeral service was held Thursday, at 2 p.m., from the church, with Rev. Gay Smith officiating, assisted by Rev. John Crawford. Organist was Margaret Stymiest. Guitarists were Mark Palmer and Arthur Strang. Congregational hymns were: Spirit of Gentleness, How Great Thou Art, The Lord Is My Shepherd, The Old Rugged Cross, and In The Garden. Choir selection was Amazing Grace. Soloist, Arthur Strang, rendered My Friend. Eulogy was given by Rev. John Crawford. A guard of honor was formed by DFO, DNR, R.C.M.P., City Police, and Air OPS.
    Active pallbearers were: Colin Harding, Robert MacCallum, Russell McCallum, Elmo MacIntosh, Ken Murray, and Everett England. Honorary pallbearers were: Everard LeBlanc, Leslie Dickson, Urban Schaefer, Beno Schaefer, Brian Savoy, Jimmy Breau, Patty Greene, Fraser McCallum, and Gilbert Benoit.
    Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in the spring. At the request of the family, donations to Tabusintac Nursing Home, or a memorial of one's choice would be appreciated. Arrangements were in care of Davidson's Funeral Home, 597 Old King George Hwy., Miramichi (622-7464). Your family-owned, family-operated funeral home.

    Mrs. Connie McCallum TABUSINTAC, NB - Connie McCallum, widow of Guy McCallum of Tabusintac passed away Monday morning, October 7, at Tabusintac Nursing Home, at the age of 81. Born in Holland, daughter of the late Gerrit & Johannah (Mueller) Jansen. She was a homemaker and a member of St. John's Presbyterian Church, Tabusintac. She is survived by one daughter, Marilyn MacEachern (Ronald) of Tabusintac; three sons, Ernest (Ruth) Fredericton, Vincent (Georgina) of Lower Derby, Andrew (Heather) of Tabusintac; three sisters, Annie Woudstra (Gerrit) of Rotterdam, Holland, Corrie Weegenear of Grogigen, Holland, Rika Brands of New Jersey; 10 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Predeceased by her parents; one sister, Yopie Kuipers. Mrs. Connie McCallum is resting at St. John's Presbyterian Church Slumber Room, Tabusintac with visitation on Wednesday, October 9 from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9. The funeral service will be held Thursday 2 pm from St. John's Presbyterian Church, Tabusintac, with Rev. John Crawford officiating. Burial to follow in Riverside Cemetery, Tabusintac. At the request of the family donations to Tabusintac Nursing Home would be appreciated. Arrangements in care of Davidson's Funeral Home (622-7464).
