    The death of Walter Dulenty, age 59, of Murray Corner, occurred at the Cumberland Regional Health Center, Amherst, on Thursday, January 5, 2006 surrounded by his family, after a courageous battle with cancer..

    Born in Amherst, he is a son of Nellie (Stright) Dulenty and the late Glenn Dulenty. Walter was a former employee of Marine Atlantic, Cape Tormentine until July 1997, and more recent years he was employed with Maritime Stone Works, Scoudouc, NB, he enjoyed his family, grandchildren, his animals, tinkering in his shop, attending blue grass festivals and his woods.

    Walter will be sadly missed by his mother, Nellie, Little Shemogue; his long awaited ray of sunshine, Catherine Ceretti, Little Shemogue; 3 sons, David (Julia), Jolicure, Howard, Advocate, NS and Timothy (Amanda Wood), Kingston, ON; a daughter; Tammy (Rowan Patten), Oshawa, ON, 4 grandchildren, Trevor, Krista-Rose, Avery and Eden; 2 brothers, John (Ann) and Stanley (Lily) and 6 sisters, Glenda (Mark) Allen, Karen (Ian) Hurley, Kathy (Dale) Alder, Zerelda MacLean, Nellie-Jean (John) Grant and Muriel (Mike Carroll) Jordan; brother-in-law, Sandy MacCalder, numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, Glenn, a sister, Brenda, a brother Leslie and nephew Ryan Grant Walter will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his family and many friends for his sense of humour, strong will and 'old fashioned' ways.

    The remains have been entrusted to the Jones Funeral Home, 3 W Main St., Port Elgin from where the funeral service will be held Saturday, January 7, 2006 at 2 pm, William Drysdale officiating. The family will receive friends from 1 pm Saturday, until the time of the funeral. Burial in the Fernwood Cemetery, Port Elgin, in the spring. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cumberland Health Care Foundation (Palliative Care), or a charity of the donor's choice

    Donald Oulton
    1927-2011

    Donald Oulton, age 84, of Jolicure, passed away peacefully at the Moncton City Hospital on Monday, December 26, 2011 while surrounded by his loving family.
    Born in Jolicure, he was a son of the late Russell and Marjorie (Weeks) Oulton.
    He was raised and lived in Jolicure all his life where he was a lifelong dairy and beef farmer.  He was a member of the Shorthorn Association and the Soil and Crop Organization.  He was very proud of recently receiving "Farmer of the Year" from the Port Elgin Exhibition in September 2010.

    He will be sadly missed by his wife of 50 years, the former Charlotte Richards, Jolicure; sons Stephen, Jolicure and Harold (Cynthia), Sackville; daughters Lori (Scott) Hall, Jolicure, and Julia (David) Dulenty, Jolicure; 10 grandchildren, Ryan, Luke, Mark, Brandon, Jessie, Cory, Sara, Trevor, Krista, and Matthew, several nieces and nephews.

    He was predeceased by sister Barbara Green and brother-in-law Finley Green.

    Arrangements have been entrusted to the Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge St., Sackville, NB (506-364-1300) where visiting hours will be held on Thursday from 7 to 9 pm.  The funeral service will take place at the funeral home on Friday, December 30, 2011 at 2 pm, Rev. Dr. Eldon Hay officiating.  Burial will take place in the Point de Bute Cemetery.

    Nellie Olga Dulenty (Stright) 1925-2015
    It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Nellie Dulenty
    , Saturday March 14, 2015 surrounded by her family at Westford Nursing Home.
    She was the daughter of the late George & Henrietta (Scott) Stright.
    She is survived by children, John (Ann) Dulenty, Zerelda MacLean, Nellie (John) Grant, Glenda (Mark) Allen, Stanley (Lily), Kathy (Dale) Alder, Karen (Ian) Hurley, Muriel Jordan; son-in-law Sandy MacCalder; daughter–in-law Cathy Ceretti; sister Arlene Wiggins; brother Henry Stright; thirty grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; thirty-three great grandchildren; 9 step-great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
    Besides her parents she was pre-deceased by her husband Glenn, Sons Walter and Leslie, Daughter Brenda MacCalder, Son-in-law Bill MacLean, Grandsons Ryan Grant & Michael MacLean, great grandson Noah Dulenty, sister Clara Walton, brother Kenneth Stright.
    Arrangements are under the care and guidance of Jones Funeral Home.   A time of visitation will be held from their Port Elgin location, 3 West Main Street (538-2241) on Tuesday, March 17, 2015 from 2-4 pm with a funeral service to follow Tuesday evening at 6 pm.  William Drysdale DLM presiding.  Interment will be held in the spring.
    In keeping with Nellie’s wishes, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Murray Corner United Church, Silver Pioneers Seniors Club, Westford Nursing Home or a charity of the donors choice.
