Obituary
Wilda Maria Morrison widow of Raymond Morrison of Oak Point, NB, passed away Friday February 13, 2015 at Miramichi Senior Citizens Home, at the age of 89. Born in Price Settlement, NB, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Harriet (Price) Taylor. She was a retired housekeeper for Wandlyn Motor Inn and a member of St. Matthew's Presbyterian Church, Bartibog. She also was a member of Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 61, Neguac.
She is survived by six sons, Frank (Sandra) of Oak Point, Howard (Linda) of Hoyt, Ernest (Phyllis) of Sherwood Park, ALB, John (Donna) of Kelona BC, Dale of Hoyt and Kevin (Claudette) of Oak Point, seven daughters, Alberta Charlton (Allan) of Hoyt, Thelma Harnish (Gary) of Coles Island, Evelyn Comeau (Willard) of Oak Point, Donna Teakles ( late Donnie) of Guagetown, Arlene Munn (Wayne) of St. John, Sheila Doiron (Rudolphe) of Tabusintac, Kelly Ann Power (Blane) of Bathurst, three sisters, Ella Dutcher of Fredericton, Rita Godfrey of Chatham, Marjorie Hamilton of Moncton, , numerous grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. Besides her parents and her husband she was predeceased by one daughter, Shirley, one grandson Stephen, one great granddaughter, Miranda, four brothers, Walter, Ernest, Mark and Frank, one sister, Annie Cullum.
Wilda Maria Morrison is resting at Davidson's Funeral Home, 597 Old King George Hwy, Miramichi, with visitation on Monday evening from 7-9 and Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9. The Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, February 18, at 3 p.m. at Davidson's Funeral Home chapel with Reverend Derek Krunys officiating. Burial will be in St. Matthew's Presbyterian Cemetery later in the spring.
In memory of Wilda donations may be made to St. Matthew's Presbyterian Church Fund, Miramichi Senior Citizens Home or a memorial of one's choice would be appreciated.
