Obituary
BEATON, Doris Louisa - 72, died July 31, 2000, in Lorneville. Born in Amherst, she was a daughter of the late Ethel (Brown) and Lewis Fields. She was a Red Cross Homemaker. Her time was for her family and the Lorneville United Church. She lived in Ontario for 30 years and retired to Lorneville. Surviving are daughter, Sandra Fallow, Oshawa; sons, Lewis Patterson, Eric Patterson, Oshawa; six grandchildren;two great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Ross Beaton; brothers, Charles, Lewis; sister, Betty Smith. Visitation 2-4,7-9 p.m. Thursday, in Campbell's Funeral Home, 98 Church St., Amherst. Funeral 11 a.m. Friday, in Lorneville United Church, Rev. Allan Griffin officiating. Burial in Lorneville Cemetery. Donations to Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia or to Canadian Diabetes Association.
