ESTABROOKS, GLORIA JOYCE (LOWERISON) 1941-2006 Sackville, N.B.- Gloria Joyce Estabrooks, age 64, of Sackville, N.B., passed away on Tuesday, June 20, 2006 at the Sackville Memorial Hospital. Born in Sackville, N.B. on November 24, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Ben and Margaret (Lewis) Lowerison. Gloria enjoyed playing basketball and was on the Sackville High School Basketball Team and after graduating became a member of the Senior Basketball League in Moncton , N.B. Gloria was a Professor of Education at UNB Fredericton until her retirement in 2000. She was involved in many things such as the Girl Guide movement in Fredericton, N.B., co-chair of the Kidney Foundation Provincial Campaign for two years, a fundraiser for the SPCA, co-chair of the Healthy Returns Capital Campaign as well as a current board member of the Sackville Memorial Hospital Foundation. Gloria will be sadly missed by her husband of forty three years, Vince Estabrooks of Sackville, N.B.; two sons, Mark (Lorenda) Estabrooks of Halifax, N.S. and Scott Estabrooks (Kristin Meyer) of Denver, Colorado; two sisters, Joan (Gordon) Colpitts of Colpitt's Settlement, N.B. and Janet (John) Crawford of Sackville, N.B. and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers Don Lowerison and James (Jim) Lowerison. Arrangements are entrusted to Campbell's Funeral Home, 89 Bridge Street, Sackville, N.B. (364-8188). Visitation will take place at Campbell's Funeral Home, on Thursday, June 22, 2006 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral Service will be held from the Middle Sackville Baptist Church, on Friday, June 23, 2006 at 2 PM with Rev. Vernon Vickruck officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Gloria may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society Research Fund, Sackville Memorial Hospital Foundation or to the charity of ones choice.Children:
