    Bona,vol.2,p.505, says that Germain's was a brother-in-law to Jacques Bourgeois but S. White disproves this - see the Explanatory Note 1 on page 112 of White's Supplement.

    In 'History of the Acadians' by Bona Arsenault, he mentions on page 31 that administration of D'Aulnay's estate was awarded jointly to d'Aulnay's widow and to Germain Doucet dit Laverdure who was a trusted associate of D'Aulnay's at Penobscot.
