Obituary
BATES, Iola (Oulton) - Peacefully after a long and valiant battle on Saturday, March 13, 2010. Beloved wife of the late Roy and very much loved mother of Don ( Joyce), Norm (Mary) and Carol (Bruce). Adored Grandmother of Kevin (Heather), Heather (Andrew), Steve (Jessica), Tim (Jenn), Rob (Christine), Dan (Tegan), Scott, Allison and John. Great-grandmother to Emma, David, Colin, Chloe, Bridget and Callum. Her great capacity for love made her an 'adopted' mother and wonderful friend to many across the world. The family wishes to offer special thanks to Dr. Julia Bright, who provided her with exceptional care and also to the staff and volunteers at Cascade Hospice for their tremendous care and compassion to Mom and the family. A celebration of her life will be held at Cooke's Presbyterian Church, Chilliwack, BC at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 27, 2010. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Carcinoid-Neuro Endocrine Tumour Society Canada. www.cnetscanada.orgChildren:
