    TATTRIE (Mason), Dora Jane - 89, Cedarstone Enhanced Care, Truro, passed away Thursday, January 23, 2003, in Cedarstone Enhanced Care, Truro. Born July 2, 1913, in Amherst Head, she was a daughter of the late Stevely and Hattie (Smith) Mason. Prior to moving to Truro, she was a member of First Presbyterian Church, New Glasgow. Dora and her late husband Gilbert of 61 years, always enjoyed doing things with their children and grandchildren. She is survived by her son, Lloyd (Mary), New Glasgow; daughter, Carolyn (Jim) Croft, Truro; grandchildren, Kevin Croft, Karen Anne (Darryl) Pierrynowski; two great grandchildren, Ben and Sam Pierrynowski; sister, Joyce Hingley, Halifax; brother, Lloyd Mason, New Glasgow; nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Gilbert; brothers, Hilton, Layton and Jake. Cremation has taken place. No visitation by request. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Sunday in St. George's Anglican Church, Pictou Road, Bible Hill, Rev. Dr. Brian Spence officiating. A reception will follow in the church hall. Burial will be held at a later date in Heatherdale Memorial Gardens, Pictou County. Family flowers only. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
