    Minnie B. Strang The death of Minnie B. Strang, age 76 of Moncton and formerly of Baie Verte, NB occurred suddenly on Thursday, July 4, 2002 in Halifax. Born in Job's Cove, NF she was a daughter of the late William and Jessie (Street) Halliday. Minnie will be sadly missed by her daughter Sharon (Donald) Cormier, Moncton; a son Kenneth (Ellen), Fredericton; three sisters, Florence (Max) Oliver, St. John's, NF, Janet Wheeler, NF and Elsie Halliday, Montreal as well as her two grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Aubrey Strang in 1989, as well as by two brothers John and an infant. The remains are resting at the Jones Funeral Home, 3 W. Main Street, Port Elgin (364-1300) with visitation Friday from 7 to 9 PM and Saturday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Sunday, July 7, 2002 at 2 PM, Rev. Jay Ettinger officiating. Burial in the Riverside Cemetery, Tidnish NS. www.jonesfuneralhome.ca

    Minnie married Aubrey Raymond Strang Aft 1946. Aubrey (son of Morey Drapper Strang and Lily Alberta Brundage) was born 16 Oct 1909, Baie Verte, Westmorland, New Brunswick, Canada; died 5 Jun 1989, Sackville, Westmorland, New Brunswick, Canada; was buried , Riverside Cemetery, Tidnish, Cumberland, Nova Scotia, Canada.
