    WEDDING BELLS
    At Bay Verte Road on Tuesday evening Dec 21st a very pretty wedding was solmized in which the contracting parties, Miss Florence M. GOODWIN and Charles W. OULTON were joined together for life by the Rev. Mr. James of Port Elgin. The groom was ably assisted by Mr. Joseph C. Turner, while Miss Retta Goodwin acted as maid of honor. The bride was neatly attired in grey trimmed with cream lace and cream ribbon which looked very neat and becoming for the occasion. Immediately after the ceremony the invited guests sat down to a tempting colation. The bride received many handsome and useful presents, thus showing the high esteem in which she was held. Among the more valuable presents may be mentioned the following: From her mother a china tea set, the groom presented her with a gold watch and chain and two sovereigns, Jacob Oulton cash and one doz chairs and table, Mrs. Jacob Oulton set lace curtains and half dozen silver tea spoons, Misses Emma and Melvie Turner hot water set, Mr. and Mrs. Ephis Turner coffee pot, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Goodwin cheese plate, Mr. and Mrs. William Scott cheese plate, Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Goodwin table spread, W.T.
