    Colonel William A. Teed at Parkwood Hospital, London on Friday April 20, 2001 at 80 years of age. Beloved husband of Margaret (Peggy) Teed for 56 years. Dear father of Ray Teed and his wife Kathi Smith of Kitchener. Brother of Stephen Teed and his wife LaDonna of Texas and the late Lionel Teed of New Brunswick.
    Highlights of a distinguished 35 year career in the Canadian Forces included: serving with the 1st Army in North Africa during the Second World War, landng on D-Day in Normandy; Commanding Officer of the 1st Battalion, Black Watch and serving as a Military Attache in Israel and Malaysia.
    Arrangements in the care of Memorial Funeral Home (519)452-3770. Visitation will be held at the Chapel of The Good Shepherd, Western Counties Wing, Parkwood Hospital 801 Commissioners Rd. E.,(please use parking lot #3) London from 7-9 pm Wednesday where a Memorial Service will be held on Thursday at 4 pm Rev. Darrell Shaule officiating.
    Donations to the Canadian Diabetes Associatin 442 Adelaide St. N. London N6B 3H8 would be appreciated.

    Margaret Joan Winona Teed
    August 19, 1920 - August 31, 2001
    At her home in London, on Friday, August 31, 2001, Margaret "Peggy" Joan Teed, in her 82nd year. Beloved wife of the late William "Bill" Teed (2001). Dear mother of Ray Teed and his wife Kathi Smith, of Kitchener. Fondly remembered by brother-in-law Stephen Teed and his wife LaDonna, of Texas. Peggy served as a nursing sister in England during WW II where she married Bill. She was a devoted and loving partner for 56 years which included support during Bill's 35 years military service and in their retirement in St. Mary's and London.
    Peggy was an inspiration to many during her 18 years as a renal dialysis patient. A very special Thank You, to the staff and residence at the Inspirit Residences for their friendship, love and care over the past 2 years.
    A visitation will be held at the Chapel of Good Shepherd, Western Counties Wing, Parkwood Hospital (801 Commissioners Rd. E. London - please use parking lot #3) on Thursday, September 6, 2001 and Friday, September 7, 2001 from 7-9 p.m. where a Memorial Service will be held on Saturday September 8, 2001 at 10 a.m. with Reverend Darrell Shaule officiating.
    Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Kidney Foundation.

    "Frank Teed's brother and companion at the ice carnival, a graduate of the University of New Brunswick, became the Reverend Arthur Teed, the rector of historic Saint Mark's Church at Mount Watley, his second parish, where he served until his
    retirement well into the twentieth century. Arthur Teed married Cora King, the daughter of Captain Joshua King of Dorchester, where the priest frequently returned to Trinity Church to officiate at family weddings and at the funerals of boyhood and
    family friends."
