    Todd Daniel Ibbitson, 39, of Upper Coverdale, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2007, at the Moncton Hospital.

    Born in Toronto, he was the son of Irene (Ross) and the late Perley Ibbitson.

    Dan was employed as a truck technician at Ryder Truck Rental. He enjoyed canoeing and four wheeling and was a former member of the Mud Runners ATV Club. He attended the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Moncton.

    Survived by his beloved wife Natalie; his mother Irene of Sackville; sister Lani Calhoun (Craig), Woodstock; brother-in- law Barry Lewis (Kathy), Riverview; sister-in-law Sherry Arseneault (Danny), Kitchener; nieces Leah Calhoun, Carrie Ingram (Jason) and their children Jamie, Zack and Chrissy; Tania Rogers (Mike) and their daughter Peyton; nephew Joey Lewis (Miranda) and their children Ethen and Summer; and by several special aunts and uncles. Predeceased by his father Perley and recently his nana Helen Heal.

    Todd’s remains rested at the Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Salisbury Road with visiting held on Thursday, Oct. 4, 2007, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral was held from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 2070 Mountain Road, on Friday, Oct. 5, at 1 p.m. with Bishop Charles Secord officiating. Interment at Maplewood Cemetery, Petitcodiac.

    If desired, memorials to the Friends of the Moncton Hospital or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.

    IBBITSON, Perley Ivan - 59, Amherst, died October 20, 2001, in Highland View Regional Hospital, Amherst. Born in Memracook, N.B., he was a son of Alberta (Beal) Ibbitison, Sackville, N.B. and the late Dovey Ibbitson. Surviving are his wife, Dora (Gamble); daughter, Lanny Calhoun; son, Danny; sisters, Sherry Smith, Joyce Dauvin; brothers, Robert, Ronald, Austin, Eric, Danal, Darren; granddaughter, Leah. Cremation has taken place. No visitation by request. Memorial service 2 p.m. Tuesday in Cumberland Memorial Chapel, Amherst, Rev. Danny Compton officiating. Burial in Fernwood Cemetery, Port Elgin, N.B. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of choice may be made at Furlong's Funeral Home, Amherst.

    The death of Alberta Ibbitson, age 89, widow of Dovey Ibbitson, occurred at the Sackville Memorial Hospital on Monday, July 5, 2004.

    Born in Midgic, she was a daughter of the late John and Luella (Estabrooks) Beal. She was a member of the Midgic Baptist Church.

    Alberta will be sadly missed by her seven children, Ron (Donna), Austin (Ghayle) and Joyce (Don) Dauvin, all of Sackville, Eric (Joan), New Glasgow, Dan (Cheryl), Winnipeg, MB, Sherry (Larry) Smith and Darren (Sandi), both of Amherst, 23 grandchildren 26 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren; brothers and sisters,Earl, Inga White, Cynthia Richards, Raymond, Hyle, Harry, Abner, Lloyd, John, Daphne Day and Harold. She was predeceased by her husband Dovey in 1976 and by sons, Perley and Bob, a daughter Sheila and by brothers, Hollis, Donald and Leaman.

    The remains have been forwarded for cremation. Alberta's family will receive friends at the Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge St, Sackville (364-1300) on Thursday evening from 7 to 9 pm. A memorial service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, July 9, 2004 at 11 am, Pastor Hal Lowther officiating. Burial in the Fernwood Cemetery, Port Elgin. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Sackville Memorial Hospital Foundation or a charity of the donor's choice.
