    Chapman, Ross Fawcett. 80, Marshview Manor, Amherst, died Tuesday in Highland View Regional Hospital, Amherst. Born in Upper Tidnish, he was a son of the late Allen and Ethelwyn (Fawcett) Chapman. He worked as a carpenter for K.P. Allen Ltd in Amherst for many years until his retirement in 1961. He was a member of Trinity St Stephen United Church, Amherst. He was a member and past chancellor of Knights of Pythias, Chignecto Lodge 11. He is survived by his wife, the former Grace Oulton; a daughter, Audrey (Mrs Gordon Jones), Fredericton, NB; a sister, Brenda (Mrs Cedric Taylor), Scarborough, Ontario); three brothers, Arnold, Calgary, Alta; Victor, Moncton, NB; Rodger, Amherst; two granchildren. He was predecased by two sisters, Clarissa Reid, Gertrude Oulton; two brothers, Gordon, Everett. The body is in Furlong's Funeral Home, Amherst, visiting 2-4,7-9 pm today, where Knights of Pythias will hold a service 7 pm tonight, and where funeral will be 2 pm Friday, Rev James Fraser and Rev. Jack Touchie officiating. Burial will be at Baie Verte Cemetery, Baie Verte, NB.

    Ross married Laura Grace Oulton 16 Sep 1932. Laura (daughter of Major Hiram Oulton and Maretta Jane Mills) was born 20 Apr 1909, Baie Verte, Westmorland, New Brunswick, Canada; died 26 Apr 1992, Fredericton, York, New Brunswick, Canada; was buried , St James United & St Luke Anglican Cemetery, Baie Verte, Westmorland, New Brunswick, Canada.     Chapman, L. Grace 83, Amherst, died Sunday, April 26, 1992, in Fredericton Hospital. Born in Baie Verte, N.B., she was a daughter of the late Major H. and Maretta (Mills) OULTON. She was a former manager of Simpson-Sears Amherst order office for over 20 years. She was a member of Trinity St. Stephen's United Church; UCW; and Pythian Sisters, Elizabeth Temple No. 6. She is survived by her daughter, Audrey (Mrs. Gordon Jones), Fredericton, N.B.; two grandchildren; a great-grandson. She was predeceased by her husband, Ross F.; three sisters, Mayme Allen, Alberta Davey, Minnie Miller; four brothers, Herbert, Robert, William, Reginald. The body is in Furlong's Funeral Home, Amherst, visiting 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today, where funeral will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, Rev. James Fraser officiating. Burial will be at a later date in Baie Verte [NB].
