    GILBERT, MARJORIE G. - 1914-2009 - Marjorie Gilbert passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Tuesday, August 11th, 2009. Born in Moncton April 17th, 1914, she was the daughter of the late, Walter J. and Beryl G. (Berry) Kelly. She is survived by her sons David Mattinson (Janet) of Ottawa, Don Gilbert (Marian) of New Canaan, NB; four grandchildren; Sharon, Mike, Todd and Drew; four great-grandchildren, Julianna, Christina, Caroline and Marc; as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Harold E. Gilbert; brothers Fred and Bliss; sisters Verna and June; and a grandson Christopher. With respect to Marje's wishes, there will be no visitation prior to the memorial service to be held at 3:00 pm, Saturday, August 15th, 2009, in the chapel of Fair Haven Funeral Home with Rev. Danny Compton officiating. Interment Fair Haven Memorial Gardens. Remembrances in Marjorie's memory may be made to the charity of the donor's choice. Arrangements entrusted to the professional care of Fair Haven Funeral Home, 1177 Salisbury Road, Moncton (506) 852-3530. A book of condolences can be signed at www.fairhavenmemorial.ca.

    Entered Into Eternal Rest Wednesday, Dec. 27, 1972
    The death of Walter Johnson Kelly, husband of the late Gertrude Berry, 6 Friel Street, Moncton, occurred Wednesday at Moncton Hospital following a long illness. He was 80.
    Born in Stilesville, he was a son of the late Richard and Olivia (Lutes) Kelly and attended the Stilesville United Church. He was a retired Canadian National engineer.
    He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Harold Gilbert (Marjorie) of Moncton, Mrs. Gordon Sheppard (June) of Kingston, Ont. and Mrs. Benjamin Braithewaite (Verna) of Toronto; two sons, Bliss of Kingston, Ont. and Fred of Ontario; two sisters, Mrs. Carmen Frazee and Mrs. Eleanor Waugh, both of Vancouver, B.C.; one brother, Benjamin Kelly of Moncton and nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
    The body is resting at Cadman's Funeral Home in Moncton.
    The funeral service will be held a 2 p.m. Friday at Cadman's Funeral Home with entombment in the Elmwood cemetery vault to await interment in the family plot at Stilesville cemetery this spring.

    Walter married Beryl Gertrude Berry 20 Aug 1913, Lutes Mountain, , New Brunswick, Canada. Beryl (daughter of Abram Lannon Berry and Euphemia Maddison) was born 8 Sep 1894, Berry's Mills, , New Brunswick, Canada; died 9 Sep 1963, Toronto, York, Ontario, Canada. [Group Sheet]
