    OULTON, Harry Arthur 1937 - 2017 With breaking hearts we announce the death of Arthur Oulton at home embraced by his family on Friday, December 29, 2017. Arthur was born in Moncton, New Brunswick to Ralph and Carrie (Cannon) Oulton, both of whom predeceased him. Arthur was the loving and beloved husband for 56 years of Elizabeth (Eagles), having met at Acadia University in 1957. Arthur will live forever in the hearts of his children, David and his wife Hélène, Cairine Thomas and her husband Gary, and Peter and his wife Janet Devine, as well as in the hearts of his treasured grandchildren Jared, Cameron and Brennan Thomas and Christopher and Caisha Devine-Oulton. Cherished throughout his life were his four sisters Betty and her husband Allan Turner (deceased). Elaine and her husband Tony Girling (both deceased). Peggy and her husband Dr. Robert Fiorentino, and Susan. Arthur was also a beloved brother-in-law of Stuart Eagles (deceased) and his wife Anne and Shirley Eagles Macdonald. His many nieces and nephews were always dear to his heart as were his many, many friends. Arthur was a devoted and highly respected member of the Public Service retiring in 1996 as Chief of Classification for Transport Canada. He loved his worked and continued as a consultant until two years ago. He worked tirelessly as a Cub leader for many years. His quiet faith and his beloved City View United Church were central to his life. Arthur was a gentle, kind man, a friend to all he met, with a deep desire to help those less fortunate. Friends are invited to visit at the West Chapel of Hulse Playfair and McGarry, 150 Woodroffe Avenue (at Byron) on Tuesday, January 2 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service to celebrate Arthur's life will be conducted by Rev. Dr. Karen Boivin at City View United Church, 6 Epworth Avenue, on Wednesday, January 3 at 11 a.m. followed by a reception. Burial at Pinecrest Cemetery.     J. Ralph Peacefully at home on Saturday, June 12, 1999, with his family at his side. Ralph was blessed with two loving wives; he is survived by his beloved wife Annie and predeceased by his wife Carrie (nee Cannon). Loving father of Arthur (Elizabeth), Betty (Allan Turner), Elaine (Tony Girling), Peggy (Dr. Robert Fiorentino) and Susan McNulty. Cherished grandfather of 13 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Also survived by his sister Anna Hooey and predeceased by his siblings Earl, Gordon and Jean Graves. He will be fondly remembered by his 5 step-children Maureen Ives, Maurice Fife, Dawna Hoy, Dennis Fife, Arlene Bryan and their families. Friends may visit at the West Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 150 Woodroffe Avenue at Richmond Road, on Monday, June 14th, from 7 to 9 p.m. and on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Wednesday, June 16, 1999, at 11 a.m., followed by interment at Pinecrest Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, those wishing, may make donations to the Palliative Care Outreach Program.

    After a short illness in the Elisabeth Bruyere Health Centre on Sunday, February 9, 1986, Carrie Oulton, age 72 years.  Beloved wife of J. Ralph Oulton; loving mother of Arthur and his wife Elizabeth, Elizabeth and husband Allan Turner, Elaine and husband Tony Girling, Peggy and husband Dr. Robert Fiorentino, Susan and husband Michael McNulty.  Dear grandmother of 13 grandchildren. Sister of Earl Cannon of Summerside, P.E.I. and Harry Scott of Oak Bay, N.B.  Friends may call at Hulse and Playfair West Chapel, 1098 Byron Avenue (west of Woodroffe) on Monday, 2 to 5 and 7 to10 p.m. Service in the Chapel on Tuesday at 2 p.m. Interment, Pinecrest Cemetery.
