    Dennis Michael Doucett 1953-2013
    Dennis Michael Doucett, September 10, 2013, after a very lengthy illness at the Georges L. Dumont University Hospital in Moncton.  Born July 17, 1953, in Saint John, he was the son of the late Gerard Thomas and Blanche Doucett. 
    He attended Saint John High School and had varied interest as a young man including photography and musical promotion.  He served briefly in the Canadian Forces before moving to Edmonton where he worked as an electrician and meat packer.  He returned to New Brunswick and settled in Cape Tormentine working fishing boats for a period prior to becoming ill.
    He is survived by his former wife, Valerie Doucett (nee Field); sons, Gabriel, Louis, and Paul; daughter, Bridgett; grandson, Thomas James (TJ); sister, Virginia; and brother, Peter.  He is predeceased by brothers, Paul and Thomas; and sister, Geraldine.
    Cremation has taken place under the guidance and care of Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge Street, Sackville.
