    At the family residence, Oshawa, on Monday, June 20, 1988, Lyle Geldart in his 64th year. Beloved husband of Pearl Butland, Dear son of Mrs Josie Geldart of Nova Scotia and the late Clifford Geldart. Dear father of Mrs. Bruce Geldart (Willa) of Dunsford, Mrs. Charles Hannah (Sheila) of Oshawa, Mrs Kevin Young (Roberta) of Oshawa. Miss Marvena Geldart of Oshawa, Dale and his wife Candy of Whitby. Predeceased by a son LeRoy. Dear brother of June Kelly, Mrs Hans Greencorn (Avora) both of Nova Scotia , Eldon of Ottawa, Blair of Manitoba and Eddie and Boyd of Nova Scotia, Predeceased by a brother Howard, Lovingly remembered by twelve grandchildren. Resting at the Armstrong Funeral Home, 124 King St. E. Oshawa, with funeral service in the chapel on Thursday June 23 at 3 pm. Interment Mount Lawn Memorial Gardens, Memorial donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated. Visitation commencing on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm

    GELDART, Pearl Evelyn (Butland) 83 years of age, of Victoria BC passed away on Friday May 24th, 2013 after a long illness. Pearl was born in Germantown AC, NB on Dec. 2, 1929 the daughter of the late Stanley and Annie Butland. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and sister who will live on in the hearts of her loved ones forever. She predeceased by her beloved husband Clifford Lyle Geldart, son LeRoy Lyle Geldart and granddaughter Angela Marlene Hannah. She will be deeply missed by her long time loving companion Daniel Conway. Her children Mrs. Bruce Geldart (Willa) of Nova Scotia, Dale Geldart his wife Candy of Kendal Ont. Mrs. Charles (Gary) Hannah (Sheila) of Kendal Ont., Roberta Young (George) of Oshawa Ont. Mrs. Terry Dionne (Marvena) of Alberta; her cherished grandchildren Todd, Kelly, Gary, Shawn, Sherry, Laurie, Warren, Royce, Ian, Derrick and Tyler and 25 great grandchildren and her loving Brother Kenneth Butland (Karen) of Oshawa. She will also be missed by nieces and nephews. She will be resting at the MOUNT LAWN RECEPTION CENTRE 21 Garrard Rd., Whitby (N of Hwy #2) 905 443-3376 for visitation on Friday May 31st, 2013 from 1:30 p.m. until time of Funeral Service in the Chapel at 2:30 p.m. Interment to follow at Mount Lawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Everyone is welcome to attend. Donations to The Oshawa Hospital Foundation Cancer Centre would be appreciated. Following the interment the family will be meeting with relatives and friends at the Moose Lodge Oshawa for further sharing of memories.

    Geldart, Josie Verna --- 90, Meadowbrook Hill, Mulgrave, died Sunday in Halifax
    Infirmary. Born in West River, N.B., she was a daughter of the late Alfred and Janie (Hayes) Marks. She was a member of Stewiacke Baptist Church. She is survived by two daughters, Eleanor Kelly, Northwood Manor, Halifax; Mrs. Avora Greencorn, Mulgrave; four sons. Eldon, Ottawa; Blair, Carberry, Man.; Edward, Middle Stewiacke; Boyd, Cold Stream; 23 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren. She was predeceases by her husband, Clifford; two sons Lyle, Howard. The body is in Ettinger Funeral Home, Shubenacadie, visting 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today. Funeral 2 p.m Wednesday in Stewiacke Baptist Church. Burial in Pine grove Cemetery.

    The death of William G. Geldart occurred last evening at his home in Lewisville following an illness of four days. He was 72 years of age and had for some years been an employee of the Hollingsworth and Whitney Lumber Company. Surviving are seven sons, Clifford, Nova Scotia, William of Havelock, Eric of The Glades, Polly and Reginal of Little River, Arden, Apohaqui and Donald at home; five daughters, Maitland of Winnipeg, Margaret of Alma, Irma and Annie residing in Little River and Leda of Hujphrey’s. Funeral arrangements will be announced later.

    After a long period of failing health the death occurred Wednesday morning at the family home in Little River, Albert County of Mrs. Fannie Louisa Geldart beloved wife of Mr. William G. Geldart. The deceased lady had been bedfast for a considerable time and while her death was not entirely unexpected, yet it came as a distinct shock to members of her family, other relatives and friends. The late Mrs. Geldart was born in Elgin, Albert County, 54 years and eight months ago, a daughter of the late Mr. & Mrs. Thomas Oulton. Fof the past 15 yhears she had made her home at Little River, coming there from Alma, Albert County where she formerly resided during the earlier years of her married life. Her husband is a well known resident during the earlier years of her married life. Her husband is a well known foreman for the White Lumber Co., Ltd. Possessed of kindly qualities of head and heart, besides being a woman of high Christian character and sunny disposition, she endeared herself to a wide circle of friends who will deeply mourn her passing and extend sympathy to the bereaved family and relatives. In religion she was a Methodist, later United Church and was a faithful attendant and active worker in the Little River Church prior to being laid aside by illness. The deceased leaves to mourn the loss of a lovidng wife and Mother, her husband and ll childen, 6 sons and 5 daughters. One sister Mrs. Currie Gould of Lewisville, N.B. and one brother Mr. Joseph Oulton of Little River also survive. The funeral arrangements have not been comnpleted and will be announced later.
