He w as very kind and allowed me to go through his fathers old files. It w as rather challenging as I was unable to find a summary of informati on rather the files were letters to various relative contacts some o f which were working on finding additional information. Therefore i n order to gather information one would have to carefully read each l etter extraction pertainant information. This was a impossible task w ithin my time limits. I did obtain some limited genealogical summarie s which others had sent to William Brown Oulton. These summaries wer e baised on information, much of which they had obtained from Willia m Oulton of Christina Lake.

Oulton, John Alexander "Jack" OULTON _ John "Jack" Alexander passed away May 1, 2005 in Trail, B.C. at the age 66. Jack is survived by son John (Kristen), daughter Holly, granddaughter Lauren and his twin brother William "Bill" Oulton. Born in Calgary, A.B., Jack spent the majority of his life residing in British Columbia. He studied music at U.B.C., co-owned Oulton Office Outfitters with his brother, and was a proud member of Point Grey G&CC for many years. Please come and join Jack's family for a casual gathering on Monday, May 9th from 3 - 5pm at Burnaby Winter Club, 4990 Canada Way, Burnaby.

FL- According to William Brown Oulton; his father Burton worked on the ra ilway and was away from home a lot --this was not the life his wife was used to in Moncton --so a divorce resulted. He does not say if his mother went back to New Brunswick --just that he left home with only a grade 10 education.--it sounded like his father and mother lived in Calgary at the time? William also notes that his interest in genealogy comes from the fact that his mother came from Moncton and he wanted to get to know her family.
