    Accidentally doing what he loved the most, Ovide ''Bibi'' Cormier, 58, of Smith Ave., Shediac died tragically while fishing on Saturday, November 1, 2008. Born February 28, 1950 in Bas Cap-Pelé, he was the son of Stella (LeBlanc) and the late Lionel Cormier. Loving son, husband, father, brother and friend, Ovide will be sadly missed by his mother Stella (LeBlanc) Cormier of Belcourt Residence, Shediac, his wife of 34 years Anne Marie (Brun) Cormier, his daughters Lisa Cormier (Jean Gravel) of Eel River Crossing, Lynn Cormier (Jean-Marc Landry) at home, Linda Cormier (Daniel LeBlanc) of Fort McMurray, AB; four brothers: Ola Cormier (Jeannette) of Grand-Barachois, Roger Cormier (Gisèle) of Bas Cap-Pelé, Légis Cormier (Huberte) of Trois-Ruisseaux and Paul Melanson (Brenda) of Grand-Barachois; two sisters: Ella Wagner (Barry) of Moncton, Marie Boudreau (Ola) of Trois-Ruisseaux; and by many nieces, nephews, and friends. Visitation at Frenette Funeral Home Ltd., Chapel and Cremation Services, 396 Main St., Shediac (532-3297) on Wednesday, from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm and Thursday, from 1 pm until time of departure 1:50 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 2 pm on Thursday, November 6, 2008 at Saint-Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Shediac. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.     Stella Cormier
    1924-2014
    Stella Cormier, 90, passed away on Thursday February 20, 2014 at the Auberge du Soleil Special Care Residence in Dieppe. Born on January 12, 1924 in Bouctouche, she was the daughter of the late Pierre and Émilienne (Bourgeois) LeBlanc.
    A resident of Cap-Pelé most of her life, Stella moved to Shediac where she resided at Residence Belcourt for 24 years. The last four years of her life she resided at Auberge du Soleil, Dieppe, where she felt comfortable with the residence and caring staff.
    She is survived by two daughters: Ella Wagner (Barry) of Moncton and Marie Boudreau of Shediac; three sons: Ola (Jeannette) and Paul Melanson (Brenda) all of Grand-Barachois and Legis (Huberte) of Dieppe; two daughter in-laws: Anne-Marie Cormier (late Ovide "Bibi") of Shediac and Gisèle Cormier (late Roger) of Bas-Cap-Pelé; 17 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
    She was predeceased by her husband, Lionel (1979); two sons: Roger and Ovide "Bibi"; four sisters: Anita, Dorice, Delia and Madeleine; four brothers: Robert, Eloi, Emery and Damien.
    The family will receive condolences at the Frenette Funeral Centre, 2642 Acadie Road, Cap-Pelé (577-3297). Visiting hours Sunday February 23, 2014 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm and Monday from  9:30 am. The funeral mass will be celebrated at Ste-Thérèse d’Avila R.C. church, 2648 Acadie Road, Cap-Pelé on Monday February 24, 2014 at 10:30 am. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
    In memory of Stella, a contribution to the Cap-Pelé cemetery or to the donor’s choice would be appreciated.
