    Catherine Mary "Cathy" LeBlanc
    1961-2018
    We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of  Catherine Mary LeBlanc,56, of Westcock, NB, on Monday, July 30, 2018 at the Moncton Hospital after a lengthy battle with cancer.  Born in Halifax, Cathy was the daughter of Jack and the late Evelyn (Gray) Chalk.
    Cathy was an active member of St. Vincent Roman Catholic Church and enjoyed singing in the choir.
    Cathy loved her job as a Registered Nurse at the Sackville Memorial Hospital.  She was known in the community for her kind and generous spirit throughout her thirty-five years in nursing.  
    She will be dearly missed by her husband of thirty-three years, Andrew LeBlanc, of Westcock; her children, Emily and Marc, both of Sackville; her father, Jack, of Sackville; brother, Kevin (Pat) Chalk, Moncton; father and mother-in-law, Leonard and Beatrice LeBlanc, of Sackville, as well as several in-laws, nieces and nephews.
    The family wishes to extend their sincere gratitude to Dr. Veronique Robichaud and the oncology staff of the Moncton Hospital for their kindness and compassion.
    Arrangements are under the care and guidance of  Jones Funeral Home,70 Bridge Street, Sackville, NB (506-364-1300).  Honouring Cathy's wishes, there is to be no visitation.  A funeral service will be held at 11 am at St. Vincent Roman Catholic Church, Sackville, on Thursday, August 2, 2018.  Father Allison Carroll presiding.
    Donations in memory of Cathy may be made to the Sackville Memorial Hospital Foundation or the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation.
