He also leaves behind to mourn: four grandchildren, Craig, Nick, Juliet and Laura; two sisters Betty Furlotte and Marjorie Ferguson of Moncton, two brothers Frederick Roberts of Amherst and Phillip Roberts of Dawson Settlement NB as well as many neices, nephews, cousins and friends. Gerald was predeceased by brothers Paul, Douglas, Edmond, Emmerson, Billy, sisters Maryanne and in infancy Mary.
Gerald's remains have been cremated under the direction of Campbell’s Funeral Home, 98 Church St., Amherst, NS. There will be no visitation, however a celebration of his life will be held at 1 pm, on Friday October 19, 2012 at Immanuel United Church, 25 Hickman St, Amherst NS. A private family graveside service will be held at a later date. Donations in Gerald's memory may be made to the Lillian Allbon Animal Shelter, Amherst NS or any charity of your choice.
