    It is with great sadness that the family of Olive Mary Arseneau age 83 of Amherst announce her passing on
    Thursday, June 29, 2017 surround by her loving family at the Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre, Amherst.
    Born in Amherst, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Blanche (Pettigrew) Dobson.
    Mom will be remembered as a helper, always helping anyone in need. She enjoyed feeding and watching the
    pheasants and deer that would visit her front lawn. Mom loved her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchild.
    She will be deeply missed by her daughters Linda (Dale) Dempsey and Carolyn Wilson; grandchildren Kevin
    (Dawn) Dempsey and Stanley (Chantel Burbine) Wilson; great grandchild Ashlee Dempsey; brothers Gordon (Dorothy), Jack, Ken (Chris), Ronnie (Eva), Albert (Linda) and Arnold (Bev); sisters Ruth Arenburg, Shirley Michels, Peggy MacKenzie, Hazel (Robert) Arenburg and Joyce (Hugh) Maloney and many nieces and nephews.
    Olive was predeceased by her husband Donald; granddaughter Stacy Dempsey; brothers Arthur (infancy), Vaughan and Russell.
    Visitations will be held on Saturday, July 1, 2017 from 2 –4 and 7 – 9 p.m. with funeral service held on Sunday, July 2,2017 at 2 p.m. all held in Campbell’s Funeral Home, 98 Church St.Amherst, 902-667-9906.
    Donations can be made in Olive’s memory to the Kidney Foundation or to the Stacy Dempsey Memorial Fund.
