    Obituary

    Ida Therese LEBLANC
LeBlanc, Ida Therese (Sept. 22, 1927-April 22, 2012) It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, Ida LeBlanc on April 22, 2012 at Parkview Place in Oshawa. Cherished mother of Marion LeBlanc (Wilson Gavin), Lorraine Reznak (Josef) and Ruth Langille (Archie). Adored Nana of Sheryl Altvator (Wally), David Stokes, Jason Bickle (Theresa), Jeff Bickle (Julie), James Langille and Ryan Langille (Lisa), and "Big Nana" of Dakota, Isabella and Andrew. Ida will also be missed by long time best friend and "God-send to the family" June. Ida was very involved in senior's activities at Parkview and will be fondly remembered for her quilting and bunko art. She loved to bake and will be remembered for her pies! Her passing leaves an empty space in the hearts of all who were touched by her. Visitation will be held at ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME (124 King St E., Oshawa 905-433-4711) on Tuesday April 24, 2012 from 2-4 & 7-9. A funeral service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday April 25 at 11 am. Burial at Mount Lawn Memorial Gardens to follow. The family would like to extend their gratitude to Dr. Kingsman, Dale and Sandy as well as to the caring and compassionate nursing staff and PSWs at Parkview for taking such great care of Ida and her family. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Kidney Foundation would be appreciated. On line condolences may be made at www.armstrongfuneralhome.net
